Cabernet Sauvignon 2016, Domaine Hatzimichalis
Date Tasted:7 /2021
One of the top Cabernet Sauvignons was made in Greece by one producer who used to produce outstanding examples.
Appearance: The colour is deep ruby with some garnet hues.
Nose: It has fully ripe aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry and blueberry, some liquorice, nutmeg and green bell pepper undertones with support of cedar and tobacco.
Palate: It is dry with high refined tannins and high acidity. The high alcohol warms up the fruit's flavour, and the finish is medium.
Drink or Hold: It is ready to drink now but has ageing potential.
Food Pairing: Always a prime steak is an excellent idea for pairing wines like this one.
