Chablis 2018, Joseph Drouhin

Date Tasted: 9/2020

It is a cool Chablis from one of the most recognized producers of Burgundy. Despite his large quantity, his approach is eco-friendly with organic and even biodynamic cultivation in almost all plots. The family's motto is "to bring natural answers to natural problems" and describe the philosophy behind that.

Appearance: The colour is medium lemon-green.

Nose: It expresses delicate aromas, fresh and ripe as well. Lemon white blossoms, honeysuckle, grapefruit, lime, peach, flint, green bell pepper and pastry are some.

Palate: It is dry, with the aromas being slightly riper, lemon acidity, medium body and long petrol aftertaste.

Drink or Hold: Enjoyable now but has ageing potential.

Food Pairing: Perfect with chicken with noodles, coconut cream, ginger and fresh onion.
