One more excellent sparkling wine is made with the traditional method from Portugal in the Vinho Verde region. Avesso is a native Portugal variety that gives full-body wines with structure and has a lot of character on the palate. The winemakers often use it for traditional method sparkling wines, late harvest, barrel-fermented or barrel-aged wines since the grape shows a versatile nature. Here we have a wine that supports all the arguments above with the marvellous mouth-watering sense. 

Appearance: It has a deep golden colour.

Nose: Α charming aromatic developing a combination of fresh and ripe tropical fruits, jasmine, violet, eucalyptus, bread, butterscotch and honey.

Palate: It is dry with intense flavours lemon acidity, medium to high body and a medium sweet and sour aftertaste. 

Drink or Hold: It can be drunk now but has the ageing potential.

Food Pairing: Ιt is just perfect with prawn gazpacho with melon, cucumber and fresh mint.
