El Enemigo Sèmillon 2017, Bodega Aleanna

Date Tasted: 4/2021

Vivino met zoom with wine friends, and the topic was Argentina. A close friend of mine treats me with this wine, and the result was more than enjoyable.

Appearance: The colour is medium lemon.

Nose: It has medium aromatic intensity but with nice complexity and ripeness. The tropical fruits come up first and follow a thick layer of spices with pastry cream and bitter almond notes.

Palate: It is dry with medium acidity and an oily texture, very palatable. The flavours still show the nose aromas, and the aftertaste is medium to short.

Drink or Hold: It is ready to open now, but it has a window of 6-7 years ahead.

Food Pairing: The soup with potatoes and leek was a nice pairing.
