Kallisti Reserve 2010, Boutaris

Kallisti Reserve 2010, Boutaris

Kallisti Reserve 2010, Boutaris

Date Tasted: 9/2021

Honestly, I did not expect it to be drinkable much more to be palatable.

Appearance: The colour is medium bronze.

Nose: The oxidative aromas are intense, like toffee and caramel, followed by wet leaves, almonds and marzipan, yet some lemon and peach notes are still here.

Palate: Apocalypse on the mouth! Honey and roasted nuts are intense and give the rhythm. The acidity is high with an almost full body and a long, long sweet aftertaste.

Drink: It will be a unique wine experience.

Food Pairing: Comte cheese was a perfect partner.
