We start the Sauvignon Blanc series with one marvellous example from South Africa that, despite its age, was delicious. Other ageing examples will follow in the following days.

Appearance: Pale lemon colour. 

Nose: Intense, ripe and developed with apple, pear and chalk powder on top.

Palate: Is round and slightly oily with almost high acidity and a light body—some gooseberry in the aftertaste. 

Drink: It has gone already too far. Drink it.

Food Pairing: It is perfect with shrimp and pasta.
