Milia 2014, Tetramythos Winery

Date Tasted: 8/2021

It is interesting to explore if and how Sauvignon Blanc is ageing and how barrels contribute to the development.

Appearance: Medium gold colour with some amber hues.

Nose: The oxidation is obviously with a nutty character.

Palate: The acidity is sharp and gives aliveness. Biscuit, butterscotch, hazelnut, toffee and caramel are intense. It has a light body and medium aftertaste.

Drink: Further ageing will not help it.

Food Pairing: Soft goat cheese and gorgonzola.
