Sovereign Grand Réserve 2006, Nemeion Estate

Sovereign Grand Réserve 2006, Nemeion Estate

Date Tasted: 12/2021

That wine is evidence of what Agiorgitiko is qualified for if the winemaker has vinified it with love, care, and passion and a target to age for many years.

Appearance: Deep ruby without any sight of tiredness.

Nose: The aromatic profile is beautiful, layered and fresh. It has many red berries with integrated oak aromas, a thin layer of spices and earthy notes.

Palate: It is full-bodied with medium-plus acidity and gorgeous velvety tannins. The flavours still show intensity and durability. It has a strong, almost long, complex aftertaste.

Drink or Hold: It is palatable now, but you can rest some bottles in the cellar as well.

Food Pairing: Rabbit stew will fit well.
