From Tinos island in the Aegean Sea comes this terroir-driven Assyrtiko from the boutique Volacus Winery. Volacus is the name for the huge granite rocks covering a vast area of the island and is an inseparable part of the island terroir.
Appearance: The colour is medium golden.
Nose: Ripe and develop aromas like white blossoms, brioche, wet gravel and saltiness.
Palate: It is luscious with an almost oily texture that balances with the high acidity and has a long-honeyed aftertaste.
Drink or Hold: Enjoyable now or in the next four years.
Food Pairing: Sea bream with a lemon vinaigrette.
