Alexis de Benoist, of the Domaine Viticole Alexis de Benoist 2B2G-VINEYARDS, originates from the Champagne region. He settled on the family property in Bourgogne in 2010, aiming to re-establish vines there after a century of neglect to revive an old tradition. Alexis de Benoist now manages two estates with a total area of 4.5 hectares.

- In the Mâconnais region: La Grange de Grévilly (production of white wine).

- In the Beaujolais region: La Grange des Oullières (production of red wine).

Appearance: The colour is a medium lemon.

Nose: Some developing aromas like ripe tropical fruits supported by oaky notes such as vanilla and cedar.

Palate: It is riper with more tropical and stone fruits, properly balanced, medium to high acidity, medium-plus body and medium aftertaste. 

Drink: Drink it now is not suitable for ageing.

Food Pairing: Try it with vegetable pasta.
