Date Tasted: 4/2021

It was a delicious Chardonnay with layers of complexity that leaves a sense of joy while you drink it. Through the last Californian wines I have tasted, I admire this place of the wine world more and more. It seems, at least, they suit my palate well.

Appearance: The colour was deep lemon.

Nose: It had a beautiful aromatic depth starting from grapefruit, lemon and pineapple supported by the oak notes such as dill, vanilla and coconut with a sense of cream. Truly charming.

Palate: Even the aromatic depth does not prepare you for the boom on the palate. Marvellous, lush and elegant at the same time. More lemon again with the support of oak notes with high acidity, almost full-body and medium pleasant aftertaste.

Drink: It has a couple of years ahead, but why waiting?

Food Pairing: Plenty of dishes would match pretty well. Fishes like salmon or poultry with creamy sauce or even pork with mushrooms would do the job. I enjoyed it with boiled chickpeas.
