Date Tasted: 11/2020

I tasted this wine for the first time more than six years ago, and it charmed me with its fruitiness and delicious taste. Now, so many years after, it remains attractive and looking back, I can clearly understand why. The fruity style and smoothness make it easy-drinking and enjoyable for all. It proves its ageing ability, but without being tired, yet I would like to open it two years earlier. It has spent 24 months in new oak barrels.

Appearance: The colour is deep garnet with ruby hues.

Nose: It has developed a delightful complexity with a combination of red fruits jam, green bell pepper, milk, coffee and chocolate.

Palate: It is dry and easy-drinking, with the flavours being the same as on the nose. The acidity is medium to high, with medium soft tannins, medium body and medium strawberry sweet spoon aftertaste.

Drink: Further ageing will not help it.

Food Pairing: Pork with plums and red wine sauce.
