Date Tasted: 3/2021

Auksinis is a fascinating wine that accurately renders to the palate the grapes affected by the noble rot and the limestone soil where the vines are grown.

Appearance: The colour is deep amber.

Nose: Exciting aromas catch up the nose like sweet orange, cooked apple, grape jam, jasmine and a thin layer of chalkiness.

Palate: It is delicious with high acidity and a silky texture.

Drink or Hold: It is appetite but can stay 5 years in the cellar as most Riffault wines.

Food Pairing: Enjoy it with a carefully selected cheese plateau.
