The Valle del Cachapoal, part of Chile's larger Central Valley, is a wine-growing region renowned for its diverse terroir and quality wines. Located south of Santiago and north of the Colchagua Valley, the valley benefits from a Mediterranean climate, with warm days and cool nights, ideal for grape ripening. The region's soils are predominantly alluvial and clay, with excellent drainage, suitable for cultivating premium-quality vines.
