Date Tasted: 12/2020

An easy-drinking yet quality made Pinot Noir is a pleasant offer for the daily table, even for hot summer days. Alto Adige is Italy’s most northerly wine region located on the Alps foothills famous for its light crispy wines. Passing through the beautiful paths of Bolzano, you will admire the diversity of microclimates, soils, altitudes and pruning systems. Starting from 200 meters and reaching 1000 meters altitude with influence by both the Mediterranean and the imposing Alps, it is a wine region which is worth discovering.

Appearance: The colour is pale ruby.

Nose: It is fruity with every kind of red berries, some dried fruits like fig and raisin footed on a thick spicy layer.

Palate: It is perfectly ripe on the palate, round and soft, with high acidity, medium body, medium tannins and medium fruity aftertaste.

Drink: It is enjoyable now, and in the next five years.

Food Pairing: It is perfect as an aperitif even in summer as it can be served cool. But it can successfully accompany dishes like pappardelle, red mullet, stir-fried pork and cheeses like camembert and gouda.
