Vino Di Sasso 2019, Sclavos
Date Tasted: 11/2020
This wine is fascinating, always with its way. And depending on the day, either it will give you this natural stink frequent in some natural wines and thinking if it is worth to put yourself in this test or it will reward you with brightness, clearness and minerality that make you search what the hell happened last time. Probably, it likes to express its own mood…
Appearance: Deep lemon colour.
Nose: Reveals a nice complexity with floral aromas followed by citruses like lemon and some tropical notes such as pineapple and melon.
Palate: It is enjoyable, with the chalk-minerality stealing the show, the acidity is high and natural, medium body and medium mineral aftertaste.
Drink or Hold: Delicious now and the next 4 years.
Food Pairing: Pasta with shrimps.
