Weinheimer Riesling 2015, Carl Freudenberg

Date Tasted: 5/2020

Everyone would love a special Riesling release from a small winery in Baden, and it can age perfectly.

Appearance: Medium lemon colour.

Nose: Medium intensity on the nose, delicate aromas of honeysuckle, lime, grapefruit and smoke.

Palate: Wet gravel, biscuit and citrus blossom on the palate, slight sweetness that leads to perfectly balances the high acidity: medium body and medium aftertaste.

Drink or Hold: I regret opening it. Please keep it in the cellar at least for a decade.

Food Pairing: It paired excellently with squids on the pan.
