Enselberg Jechtingen GG 2017, Franz Keller
Date Tasted: 5/2020
It is so good that after I tasted it, I ordered some bottles directly from the winery.
Appearance: The colour is pale ruby.
Nose: It has a pronounced aromatic intensity with all kinds of red berries, violet, dried rose, tobacco and tar.
Palate: The complexity is continuous with mushroom, spices and meat. It is silky and noble with high acidity, medium smooth tannins, medium body and prolonged aftertaste.
Drink or Hold: It is delicious now but far away from its best.
Food Pairing: It paired excellently with pasta ragu.
