A Muse 2019, Mouses Estate

Date Tasted: 8/2020

In Greece we say that 'The eyes buy first' and here we have got the perfect example. The shape of the bottle, the colour of the wine (the photo shows the bottle empty, I had to drink it first to review it), and the branding on the label warm up all the senses for a pleasant experience. And actually, it is! This lovely rosé wine has a mature fruit character with excellent balance and delicious taste.

Appearance: The colour is pale salmon.

Nose: Developing ripe fruits such as grapefruit, melon, lemon, apple, chamomile and dried banana.

Palate: It is dry and tasty, with the ripe fruit turning into a jam in some cases with high acidity, medium body and medium aftertaste.

Drink: Drink it now is not suitable for ageing.

Food Pairing: Perfect with sizzling shrimp fajita stir-fry with noodles, coloured peppers and onions.
