Bourgogne Vieilles Vignes 2019, Albert Bichot
Date Tasted: 5/2021
It is a fresh and entry-level Pinot Noir perfect for sunny warm days since you can drink it cool.
Appearance: The colour is pale purple.
Nose: It has a fresh aromatic profile full of crispy red berries like cranberry, raspberry and strawberry. The tomato leaf and some spices such as clove and cumin add some depth and extra complexity.
Palate: It still shows freshness. The red fruits are on top. The almost high acidity and the low tannins make it even more refreshing. The body is light, and the aftertaste is medium.
Drink: It did not craft for a long ageing period so drink it asap.
Food Pairing: It is a perfect wine for pairing with fishes or pasta with light sauces.
