Metochi Chromitsa 2007, Tsantali

Date Tasted: 8/2021

It is a beautiful well-aged wine at its best drinkable period.

Appearance: The colour is deep garnet.

Nose: Raspberry, blackcurrant and kirsch with many spices, tobacco and cedar undertones. Fine and complex bouquet.

Palate: It is round and soft. It has a medium body and medium acidity. Some earthy and leather notes are coming up. Good balance and pleasant aftertaste.

Drink: It is at its best.

Food Pairing: Some slow-cooked beef version with mushrooms would be an excellent pairing.
