Museum Collection 2016, Ktima Gerovassiliou

Date Tasted: 5/2020

It is a richly aromatic wine crafted by blending five white varieties that each one has a distinctive character.

Appearance: Golden colour, rich and deep.

Nose: Pronounced aromatic intensity starting with Assyrtiko smokiness and surrounded by peach, apricot, acacia, tropical fruits and grass. You can clearly spot the character of each variety.

Palate: Petrol, blood orange juice and chamomile with refreshing acidity, full-body and oily, with an intense and long sweet aftertaste. A wine worth trying.

Drink or Hold: It is delicious now but a long way from its best.

Food Pairing: It paired perfectly with potato salad with herbs.
