Even if Viognier might be the sexiest vine variety in the world, it does not attract close attention. Also, it is the only French grape that still the best wines come from its place of origin, Northern Rhone, and it is not easy to find alternatives from the new world like every other international grape.

I still remember how the WSET educator described Viognier: “is the most sexy grape variety in the world”. And that’s it! With a small phrase, you have all the information you need. Soft and tasty in the mouth, the charming aromatic character will never disappoint you.

What can I say about this wine? Before we opened it, I picked up a bottle to observe the colour through, and I felt like the friend of Steven Spurrier from the Bottle Shock movie when while he was looking at a bottle of Chateau Montelena Chardonnay said, "wine in the colour of shit."

The name and appearance are quite misleading, and one will easily conclude that it is a German wine. But this diamond comes from South Africa and is excellent!
