Roditis 2015, Tetramythos Winery

Date Tasted: 9/2021

Tetramythos winery crafts one of the best wines from Roditi, and it is interesting to see how this undervalued grape evolved over time.

Appearance: It has deep gold colour with amber hues.

Nose: The aromas are not intense, yet it is multi-layered with lemon, apple, melon and honey. It is impressive that the oxidation is missing.

Palate: It is much better on the mouth with a ripe, honey and spicy character. It has an oily texture with almost high acidity, medium body and medium aftertaste.

Drink: If you have many bottles keep some of them for the following years for educational purposes.

Food Pairing: Try it with pork pancetta and sweet mustard sauce.
