Chalkidiki Cabernet Sauvignon 2009, Tsantalis
Date Tasted: 9/2021
Sometimes it is worth waiting since the aged wines can acquire another class. Supreme!
Appearance: The colour is deep garnet.
Nose: It is multi-layered with dark fruits, green bell pepper, and toasted wood with a thick base of spices like liquorice, vanilla, cinnamon and clove.
Palate: It is still very fresh with pleasant fruit. Nothing is tired. The acidity is high, and the tannins as well but are so silky. It is a full-body wine with a medium sour cherry aftertaste.
Drink: It is at its best with a couple of years ahead.
Food Pairing: It paired fine with a sandwich stuffed with wild dose bratwurst, gouda and ketchup.
