Laurier Noir Nature 2019, Tetramythos Winery

Date Tasted: 9/2021

This is one more excellent example of dry Mavrodaphne, one of the most promising red Greek varieties.

Appearance: It has a deep purple colour.

Nose: It is delicate and youthful with a primary aroma of red fruits, green tones, and leather.

Palate: It reveals freshness on the mouth. Again red fruit signature with high tannins, medium-plus acidity and a medium finish.

Drink or Hold: It is enjoyable, but it will be much better in a couple of years.

Food Pairing: Try it with ratatouille.
