Château Pertignas 2016, Pierre Gauthier

Date Tasted: 8/2020

It is a nice Bordeaux blend, smooth and tasty.

Appearance: The colour is deep purple with ruby hues.

Nose: It shows some ripe aromas that tend to be a jam of black fruits such as plum and bramble with fig, raisin and tobacco notes.

Palate: The same flavours continue with almost high acidity, medium tannins not harsh, full body and medium aftertaste.

Drink: It has ageing potential but has not been made for this purpose.

Food Pairing: It paired fair well with a beef burger.
